Description
Enhanced Intake Performance. The Banks Power Monster-Ram Intake System with Fuel Line and Heater System Upgrade; Black is designed to improve throttle response and fuel efficiency by removing airflow restrictions present in the stock intake. It replaces the original grid heater, which is prone to failure, with a high-flow intake plate and coil heater, preventing potential engine damage and maintaining OEM-like cold start performance.
Construction and Appearance. This intake system features a high-flow cast intake plate paired with a Banks exclusive coil heater that mounts vertically inside the manifold, allowing for unrestricted airflow. It accommodates the factory mounting points and includes a proprietary fuel line engineered to minimize obstructions. The finish is a durable black coating that provides corrosion resistance and an aggressive appearance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and can be completed in approximately six hours. No drilling or permanent modifications are necessary, ensuring a clean and reversible upgrade.
Application. Specifically fits 2007.5-2012 RAM 2500 and 3500 6.7L Cummins models. Does not fit chassis cab configurations.
