Power-Retractable Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep XL Running Boards provide convenient motorized steps that automatically deploy when vehicle doors open and retract when they close. Designed to assist entry and exit, these running boards enhance accessibility for lifted trucks and vehicles with higher ground clearance.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from corrosion-resistant cast aluminum, the running boards feature a textured black powder coat finish enhanced by anodizing and a military-grade PTFE coating for durability and corrosion protection. The wide 6-inch step surface is slip-resistant and includes integrated LED lighting to safely illuminate the entry area.
Installation. These running boards utilize a bolt-on installation method that attaches to the vehicle's existing rocker panel holes, requiring no drilling. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fit and function.
