Advanced Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep Smart Series Running Boards provide automated, retractable side steps that enhance vehicle accessibility and convenience. These running boards deploy when the door opens and retract after closing, offering ease of entry while maintaining ground clearance.
Construction and Appearance. Built from corrosion-resistant cast aluminum with an anodized finish and military-grade PTFE coating, these running boards deliver long-lasting durability and resistance to wear and oxidation. The wide 6-inch textured step surface includes integrated LED lighting for added safety in low-light conditions.
Installation. Installation requires a moderate skill level and includes vehicle-specific mounting hardware and instructions. The plug-n-play wiring harness allows integration into the vehicle’s existing electrical system without complex modifications or drilling.
