Description
Retractable Power Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep Running Boards provide convenient, automatic access to high vehicles by deploying stepped boards when doors open and retracting when closed. They enhance vehicle aesthetics and ground clearance while delivering safety and ease of entry and exit.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed of corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum with a military-grade black PTFE coating, the boards feature a textured, slip-resistant surface. Their wide 6-inch tread and low-profile integrated LED lights add both functionality and sleek styling.
Installation. Installation is moderately challenging and recommended for professionals. The running boards mount securely to the vehicle’s rocker panel using the included mount kit and vehicle-specific installation guide, typically requiring no drilling.
Warranty. These running boards carry a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Application. Designed specifically to fit the 2011 through 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty models.
