When combined, this hood scoop assembly gives your truck a radical competition-inspired look that’s sure to turn heads. More significantly, this 2-piece design allows you to further customize the look of your truck by giving you the option of changing up the assembly’s look.
Heavy-Grade Build Quality. This hood scoop assembly features a premium ABS plastic construction for superior durability and resistance to deterioration. The material is then subjected to a specialized machine-forming technique and comes in a stark satin black finish, giving your truck a brawny look. Additionally, this satin finish is mean to be paintable to match or complement your truck’s factory color. And with its 2-piece design, you can re-finish one or both pieces to get a design that’s truly your own.
No Nonsense Install Procedure. This hood scoop is designed to mount onto your hood using preinstalled with 3M automotive-grade double-sided adhesive backing and the included polyurethane adhesive. No modifications to your vehicle are required. Before installation though, it is suggested to thoroughly clean and dry the mounting surface before wiping down with a clean rag moistened with acetone or alcohol. This is to ensure the total adhesion of the tape to the metal. And when installing this assembly in cold weather, heat-up the mounting surfaces with a heat gun, hairdryer, or by running your engine. This is because the double-sided tape works best on warmer surfaces. Lastly, if you plan to paint this scoop, do so before installation for a more efficient mounting.
