This DPF-back exhaust tweaks your factory exhaust sound, turning up the attitude without too much volume. The result is a low-pitched exhaust growl that’s sure to turn heads without annoying your neighbors.
Maximized Exhaust Flow. The AFE ATLAS DPF-Back Single Side Exit Exhaust System’s larger diameter piping is designed to work with your factory exhaust system to produce more free-flowing exhaust gases. This results in a drop in back-pressure which in turn optimizes power and torque figures.
Resilient Build Quality. The AFE ATLAS 5-Inch DPF-Back Single Side Exit Exhaust System features an aluminized tubular steel construction, which is a process wherein the steel pipes are hot-dipped in aluminum. This process produces piping that’s highly resistant to corrosion. This DPF-back exhaust is then mandrel-bent to produce an assembly that’s highly rigid, as well as turbulence-free for exceptional air-flow. Also, this exhaust does not include an exhaust tip for rugged looks.
Efficient Install Procedure. The AFE ATLAS 5-Inch DPF-Back Single Side Exit Exhaust System’s mid-pipe may require minor trimming for a proper fit, depending on your truck bed length. Other than this step, installation is a relatively efficient procedure that utilizes your truck’s factory system from the DPF onwards as a mounting point.
