Significant Performance Boosts. With this AEM Brute Force Cold Air Intake in Gunmetal Gray, your Ford F-150 Raptor will sound more aggressive and get excellent performance boosts. The assembly is dyno-tested to ensure top-notch outputs and is specifically engineered to help your engine breathe in cooler, cleaner, and denser air. The result is an increase in horsepower and torque, as well as an improvement in throttle response and fuel efficiency.
No Tuning Needed After Installation. This cold air intake system works with your truck’s factory tune, so there’s no need for tuning after installation. A custom tune is highly recommended, however, if your truck has other upgrades other than this cold air intake. Tuning will help ensure that all the upgrades will work together seamlessly.
Washable DryFlow Synthetic Air Filter. This cold air intake system features a DryFlow air filter, made from synthetic materials that can filter up to 1-micron-small bit of dirt. With a 99.40% efficiency based on fine dust tests, you can be sure that your engine will receive the cleanest air. In addition, this washable synthetic air filter doesn’t need filter oil and requires cleaning only after about 100,000 miles.
Mandrel-Bent Aircraft Aluminum Inlet Tube. This cold air intake system features a mandrel-bent inlet tube that’s made from aircraft-grade aluminum. This construction promises extreme toughness in a lightweight build, as well as an unobstructed flow of large volumes of cool air. Meanwhile, the custom-shaped heat shield with edge trim linings helps prevent the engine bay heat from warming up the internals. Lastly, the inlet tube has a gunmetal gray, powder-coat finish for a sleek style and long-lasting durability.
Bolt-On Installation. There’s no need for fancy or complicated tools to mount this cold air intake system. All the hardware you need for installation are already included, and these can be fastened with a simple flat-blade screwdriver and a 4-mm Allen wrench. Complete installation can be accomplished in about 1-2 hours.
