      Description

      High Energy Spark. If you have an older Ford that could use a boost, these Accel SuperCoils could be what you need for a bit more pep. Your F-150’s Modular motor has individual ignition coils mounted above each spark plug. While the OEM Coils are adequate, Accel has developed this set of performance coils that produce a spark faster that lasts for a longer time, resulting in a more complete burn. This improves throttle response and improves fuel economy.

      Tune Up Time. If you want to do a full service, consider rejuvenating your ignition coils as well. This Set of SuperCoils from Accel is a high-performance direct replacement package for your Ford. These coils use specialized silicone magnetic steel cores wrapped by carefully-engineered windings to maintain necessary resistance and turn ratios that lead to better spark. These are then ensconced in a mold using a high dielectric strength material, and the spaces are filled with a specialized high-temperature epoxy that increases the thermal conductivity and helps resist shock, vibration, and junk that accumulates in engines.

      OBD II Compatible. These Accel SuperCoil Ignition Coils are safe for use on your Ford and work with OBD II systems without causing computer issues. They are the same shape and size as the OEM parts, but these are molded in a Ford-themed blue. These coil packs bolt on above the spark plugs the same as your stock coils.

      Application. This Set of 8 Accel SuperCoil Ignition Coils, finished in blue, are designed to fit all 1997-2010 4.6L Ford F-150s, and 1999-2007 5.4L, 6.8L F-250 Super Duty models.
