      Description

      Rear U-Joint Replacement. Although u-joints are relatively small, they serve a significant purpose. They allow the driveshaft to come in at an angle and support the suspension's up and down, side to side movement. A worn u-joint will have typical symptoms like funny noises and vibrations coming from the seat. If, after an inspection, a worn u-joint has been confirmed, Yukon Gear has a premium Rear Conversion U-Joint to fit the Silverado 1500.

      High Manufacturing Standards. Yukon Gear has engineered their high-strength u-joint from steel and used the highest manufacturing standards for a quality unit that will provide years of service.

      Bolt-On Installation. This replacement part will fit in place using nuts and bolts in the existing mounting holes. If this is a DIY project, consider using a paint marker to mark the differential to the flange and the flange to the driveshaft at both ends. This is so the driveshaft can be reinstalled precisely — lined up and balanced to factory settings.

      Limited 1-Year Warranty. Yukon Gear guarantees that their u-joint will be defect-free in materials and workmanship for a least 1 year. Exclusions apply, so please visit the manufacturer’s website to know more about the warranty.

      Application. The Silverado 1500 Rear 1350 to 1410 conversion U-Joint is designed to fit all Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models manufactured between 1999-2013.

      Installation Difficulty. The installation will require basic to moderate know-how. Depending on your level of expertise, it may take 1-2 hours to complete.
