Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high grade steel, the ring and pinion gears feature a specially designed tooth surface finish that minimizes friction and heat buildup during operation. The precision fitment matches OEM specifications, providing dependable fit and function.
Installation. Installation requires moderate technical skill and involves the removal and replacement of the existing differential gears. No drilling or modifications to the axle housing are necessary, but proper setup and adjustment are essential for optimal performance and longevity.
Application. Specifically designed for 2015-2019 Ford F-150 trucks equipped with the Ford 8.8 inch rear differential, 31 spline pinion, and 2.000 inch pinion bearing journal. Compatible with carrier cases having a 2.400 inch deck height and 3.31 to 3.73 gear ratios; a new carrier case is required if replacing a factory 3.15 ratio.
