Description
Wake Up Your Truck. Installing a set of steeper gears is a great way to get your F-150 into the power band quicker for improved low end torque, faster acceleration off the line and quicker ET's. A set of 5.13 Yukon Gears will really wake up your F-150.
Better Than OEM Quality. Instead of going with shortcuts, Yukon Gears only uses solid steel to make this ring gear and pinion. As a result, they can handle the rigors of driving hard on the road or rugged trails. Using state-of-of-the-art equipment and manufacturing techniques Yukon Ring & Pinion sets are made to higher than OEM standards from forged 8620 triple alloy steel and are backed by a one year warranty.
Recommended Upgrade. Changing the rear axle gear ratio will throw off the calibration of your F-150s speedometer, but a Tuner is a quick and easy way to fix this issue.
Required Upgrade. 2008-2010 model year F-150's will require part number YK F9.75-CNV-K (T529856) for installation. 2000-2007 model year F-150's will require part number YK F9.75-CNV-J (T529855).
Application. This 5.13 Yukon Gear & Axle Ring and Pinion Gear set is designed to fit on 1997-2010 Ford F-150s with a 9.75" Rear Differential.
Please Note. If you are unsure if your F-150 has an 8.8 in. (10 Bolt) or a 9.75 in. (12 Bolt) rear, please check with your local Ford dealer to determine what rear is in your truck.
