      Description

      Brake System Upgrade. Reinforce your Silverado’s ground dynamics by replacing your front brake system with the Wilwood TX6R Black Front Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors. This kit consists of well-designed components to deliver excellent stopping ability, thanks to the exceptional wet traction, efficient heat dissipation, and high wear resistance with repeated braking operations.

      Multi-Piston Calipers. Featuring billet aluminum construction, the TX6R multi-piston calipers are designed with excellent clamping ability. These 6-piston calipers are furnished with aluminum hard anodized pistons and stainless abutments for remarkable strength and high heat capacity. In addition, these calipers are fortified by the bold black powder coat finish for additional durability to resist rust and abrasion, while appealingly reinforcing your Silverado’s aggressive stance.

      Slotted Rotors. The TX6R Brake Kit comes with high-quality, 16-inch, Spec-37 iron rotors with black e-coated aluminum hats. The precision-milled slot patterns on the disc surfaces of the front rotors are engineered to extend pad and rotor life. This design dissipates heat faster while enhancing the aggressive looks of your truck’s wheels. Moreover, each assembly is furnished with a protective coating that provides extra corrosion resistance and reinforces high-temperature strength.

      Smart BP-20 Brake Pads. Wilwood includes Smart Brake Pads with BP-20 compound in this TX6R Brake Kit. It features application-specific friction material for maximum stopping power and constant friction across the temperature range. These brake pads are made of durable, wear-resistant material that does not compress when pressure is applied and withstand extreme stress, especially when on tricky terrains.

      Direct-Fit Upgrade. This TX6R Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to directly bolt to your Silverado’s factory mounting locations. It comes with all the necessary mounting hardware and installs with mechanical expertise recommended.

      Brake Upgrade Kit. This TX6R Front Big Brake Kit is composed of a pair of 6-piston front calipers, caliper brackets, a set of 16-inch rotor and hat assemblies, high-grade brake pads, and all the necessary hardware for installation.

      Application. Wilwood specifically designed the TX6R Black Front Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors to fit all 1999-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models.
