      Description

      Reinforced Braking Performance. Give your Silverado 1500 an exceptional braking power by upgrading your factory front brake system to the Wilwood TC6R Black Front Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors. This front brake kit provides the ideal combination of exceptional brake control, enhanced torque, heat regulation, thermal capacity, brake bite, pedal feel, modulation, and overall braking capabilities. Furthermore, it is an excellent, high-performance upgrade for your truck’s activities, both on and off-road.

      Superior 6-Piston Calipers. Wilwood’s calipers were engineered with 6-piston radial mount calipers to reinforce the clamping force on the rotor for greater braking power. Each caliper features a 2-piece, forged design with cross bridge bolts for enhanced strength. It is furnished with thick-walled stainless steel pistons and steel insert plates. Additionally, it is well-designed to deliver proper heat evacuation, pad stability, exceptional rigidity, and consistent braking power. These calipers are also covered in a stylishly fierce, black powder coated finish to provide superior corrosion resistance and an aggressive, bolder appeal.

      Curved Vane Slotted Rotors. This Big Brake Kit features directional style slots around the discs, maximizing the heat dissipating capabilities while preventing gas build-up. The advanced iron alloy construction outstandingly ensures superior durability that can handle the most demanding conditions. In addition, the stylish black electro-coated finish offers long-lasting protection from corrosion, dust, and grime.

      High-Performance Brake Pads. The high-friction BP-10 compound brake pads in this TC6R Kit offers optimum braking power. These wear-resistant brake pads can withstand extreme braking mechanisms without compromising the high-grip advantage. Moreover, the brake pad set has a noise-eliminating anti-rattle feature and is designed for quick and easy pad changes.

      Bolt-On Installation. The TC6R Front Big Brake Kit directly bolts onto your truck’s factory mounting locations. It can be installed using standard hand tools and requires mechanical expertise. This kit is designed for use with factory aluminum and iron spindles.

      Front Brake Upgrade Kit. Wilwood’s TC6R Front Brake Kit includes TX6R 6-Piston front calipers, 16-inch 2-piece GT 60 curved vane front rotors, BP-10 front brake pads, braided stainless steel Flexlines, mounting brackets, and all the hardware required for installation.

      Application. The Wilwood TC6R Black Front Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors fits all 1999-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models.

      Application Note. This Wilwood TC6R Front Big Brake Kit requires the use of 20-inch or larger wheels for proper fitment.
