Description
High-Performance Rear Brake Kit. The Wilwood TC6R Rear Big Brake Kit with 16-inch drilled and slotted rotors and black calipers is engineered to deliver exceptional stopping power for heavy-duty trucks equipped with upgraded wheels and tires. It replaces the factory rear disc brakes and works seamlessly with the original parking brake assembly to enhance control and safety.
Construction and Appearance. This brake kit features TC6 six-piston radial mount calipers constructed with stainless steel pistons for lasting durability and heat resistance. The 16-inch diameter iron rotors feature a drilled and slotted design and are finished with a black electro coat for corrosion resistance and a striking appearance. The parking brake hats are cast iron with a matching black electro coat finish, specifically engineered for truck applications.
Installation. Installation is straightforward for those experienced with rear axle brake upgrades and does not require drilling on the axle flange. Designed as a direct OEM replacement, it ensures a precise fit and maintains compatibility with the original parking brake system.
Application. This kit is designed to fit the 2007 to 2010 Sierra 2500 HD models. It requires a minimum wheel diameter of 20 inches and is compatible with rear axles featuring an OEM flange and zero axle offset.
