The Wilwood Tactical Extreme TX6R Front Big Brake Kit with 16-Inch Slotted Rotors and Anodized Clear Calipers is engineered to deliver superior stopping power for trucks and SUVs under extreme conditions. Designed with six-piston calipers and large 15.00-inch rotors, it ensures consistent and reliable brake performance, especially during sustained heavy-duty use.
Construction and Appearance. The system features forged aluminum calipers with a durable Type III anodized finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal. Rotors are crafted from Spec-37 iron with a slotted GT 60 curved vane design, finished with a black electro-coat to resist rust while enhancing heat dissipation.
Installation. Installation requires no drilling, as the kit is designed to bolt directly onto factory disc spindles using the included radial mount brackets and hardware. Moderate mechanical skills are recommended to complete the installation properly.
Warranty. This brake kit includes a manufacturer’s limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
Application. Specifically fits 2013-2026 4WD F-250 Super Duty models, ensuring compatibility with factory disc spindle setups and the original equipment braking system. Always verify wheel clearance due to the large rotor size before installation.
