Description
PVC Coated Steel Cable. For safety, a PVC coated cable is provided. This holds the wheels together to prevent falling in times when large forces may dismantle the wheel. The PVC coating makes sure that the steel cable is sturdy and adds extra tension.
Mandrel Bent. The prerunner carrier is mandrel bent and MIG welded to ensure maximum strength and long life. These techniques are the most advanced for this particular application. Wilco’s engineers ensure top cutting-edge materials are used to engineer its products.
Zinc Plated Bolts. The hardware used to fasten the carrier to the truck includes the fastening bolts. Complete with zinc plating and carbon alloying, the bolts are extra sturdy for an extra tight hold. In addition, the bolts are protected against rust and corrosion due to the zinc plating. This is especially important in rainy conditions as the prerunner carrier is left exposed to nature’s elements.
35 and 40-Inch Wheels. The Wilco prerunner ensures that for smaller trucks the carrier can support 35-inch wheels, while for larger ones, the prerunner carrier can carry up to 40-inch tires.
Installation. This simple setup doesn’t require any drilling or cutting. Installation hardware is included for a complete setup. Anyone with basic hand tools and a decent level of mechanical skills can finish the installation. Approximately one hour is needed to complete the setup.
Warranty. Wilco provides a Limited Lifetime Manufacturer’s Warranty for all its products. Wilco will repair and replace damaged components on the prerunner. Please see the manual for terms and conditions of your warranty.
Application. The Wilco Offroad Tiregate PreRunner is designed to fit all 2004 to 2014 Ford F-150 Styleside models.
