Description
High-Flow Throttle Body. The Whipple Billet 132mm Elliptical Electronic Throttle Body is engineered to optimize airflow and enhance engine performance. It replaces the stock throttle body in supercharged 5.0L engines, allowing greater air volume to enter the intake system. This upgrade supports improved throttle response and increased power output when paired with Whipple supercharger systems.
Construction and Appearance. Made from billet aluminum, this throttle body features a precision-machined elliptical design for efficient airflow. It is compact to fit directly onto Whipple supercharger inlet housings and finished to ensure durability and a high-quality appearance.
Installation. Requires professional installation with no drilling necessary, as it bolts directly to Whipple supercharger inlet housings. Specialized or custom tuning is mandatory after installation to ensure correct engine calibration and optimal performance.
Application. Specifically designed for 2011-2014 Ford F-150 5.0L vehicles. When replacing the factory 80mm throttle body, the kit version must be used to provide the proper plastic air inlet tube and silicone hose.
