Hey, what's going on, guys? Adam here with americanmuscle.com. Today, I'm bringing you a quick overview and installation of the WeatherTech TechLiner Bed Liner in black, fitting all 2015 and newer F-150s with a 5.5-foot bed.So in this video I'll be going over the functionality and expectations of the WeatherTech TechLiner Bed Liner I have with me today, as well as its materials and construction, of course, for the durability, and why it would be so good for your bed. I'll top everything off with the installation which I'll tell you upfront will get a solid one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter, something any novice can take care of in a very short amount of time. So let's jump right into it.The WeatherTech TechLiner Bed Liner in black I have with me today is gonna be for all 2015 and newer F-150 owners out there with a 5.5-foot bed option, looking to protect their factory bed from the outside elements that may pose a threat, as well as the cargo they may be hauling in their bed that can cause some scratches and dents, and wanna preserve their investment. Now, if you weren't aware, WeatherTech is very known for making very weather-resistant and damage-resistant parts for both the exterior and interior of F-150s, and honestly, this bed liner is no different. In my opinion, this one is going to be a very durable material, but I'll touch on that in just a second. This one here is gonna be carefully molded perfectly to your bed length to make sure it fits every little nook and cranny of your factory bedding, which is a lot different to some of the other options on the market. This one is definitely gonna be a superior quality. So this bed liner will absolutely cater to the guys out there hauling a lot of cargo in the bed of their truck, looking to stop it from taking a beating over time. It will also cater to the guys out there doing some extreme off-roading and may have some dirty camping gear, even fishing gear dirtying up the bed and they wanna prevent that as well. And it will even cater to the guys out there looking to stand up against all-year-round weather in their local area that may take a toll on the bed overall as well.No matter what your reason may be, this one will have raised edges, a lot of grips, raised edges along the sides here to keep all the dirt and grime inside the confines of the bed and off of your factory bedding. Now, when it comes to protection, there has to be a durable construction behind the material. Now, with that said, this was made using a custom-blended thermoplastic elastomer or TPE material for a durable and long-lasting lifetime. Now, it also has a UV coating and is flexible to the outside fluctuating temperatures to stay good no matter where you are in the country in all-year-round usage. Now, with that said, it also has a soft touch design to keep whatever cargo you're hauling from shifting during transit, which is very unlike your factory bedding. Now, if this is something you think you can benefit from, the TechLiner Bed Liner from WeatherTech falls just shy of $200, which, in my opinion, isn't too crazy. The material definitely has gotten some good reviews thus far and holds up to the WeatherTech name being a very durable and long-lasting product. In my opinion, if I did have an F-150 with a 5.5-foot bed, this is something I think I would invest in simply because it does offer some protection and can really protect your investment in your F-150.Now, I did mention in the beginning of the video that this material was gonna offer a very simple installation, something any novice could take care of in just a very short amount of time in the driveway at home. Now, with that said, the utilized Velcro discs already pre-applied to the bottom of the WeatherTech Bed Liner, making it for a very simple installation, and also a very simple clean-up process. If you did wanna hose this off, all you would have to do is peel it off of the bedding of your truck, hose it down, and stick it right back on using the Velcro stick-ons.Now, with that said, this one is gonna get about a 30 minutes tops installation, something that will get a 1 out of 3 wrenches on our difficulty meter, very simple for anybody to take care of, no tools required.Well, that just about wraps it up here. If you're the owner of a 2015 or newer F-150 with a 5.5-foot bed length, and you're looking for a way to protect your factory bedding, protect your investment in your F-150 from the outside elements or some dirty camping gear and off-roading adventures, you might wanna check out the WeatherTech TechLiner Bed Liner in black I have with me today. 2019 F-150 w/ 5.5 Bed
Not a perfect fit but okay. I would say 95 accurate. It is a little narrow for my truck bed. About 1" total. Bottom lays very flat.Helpful (0)

Nice and easy
Comes with all supplies needed to install. Make sure truck bed is clean. Then just apply adhesives and put something heavy on top of mat and helps if the sun is out.Helpful (0)

Good Fit, Poor Fasteners
EZ install, good fit. Have had this liner for two months. Experience with fasteners has been poor. Replaced Velcro twice and the one closest to the cab separates and liner will lift at speed in excess of 55mph. Have followed directions two the letter. Will need to modify method of securing or opt to buy a different brand. Not recommended unless you have a shell or bed cover.Helpful (1)

Does the bed liner come with the lift gate/tailgate liner as well?
The Weathertech Techliner is designed to only cover the floor of the bed, it does not include anything for the walls or tailgate of the truck.
I have hesitated buying this. Just one question. Will a cooler slide around? I have had spray liner's and cooler's still slide. Let me know, Thanks
How thick is the bed liner?
The bed liner is ⅛" thick.
When looking at your photos I don't see cut-outs for the 2017 F-150 lights (2), switch and anchors (2) in the bed. Do you mark where they should be cut out?
The Weathertech TechLiner Bed Liner would not have any marked cutouts. This will cover the bed floor only.
