Hey guys. So today, we're checking out the WeatherTech Window Deflectors for the Front and Rear in Dark Smoke, fitting all 2019 and newer Silverado 1500 Crew Cab models with the factory rubber door sill. Now, these are gonna be a great choice for the Silverado owner who is looking for a little bit of in-cab protection while they have their windows cracked for both the driver, as well as the passengers. Now, these are gonna do a really good job at preventing any bugs, dust, any debris, or any water especially if it's raining from getting inside the cab area while you have your windows cracked, which is going to allow for some better airflow. Now, these are gonna be made of an acrylic material, so they are gonna be pretty durable and stand up to whatever gets thrown at them in the elements. And they're also gonna have that nice dark smoke appearance. So, they're not going to be completely transparent, they're not going to be opaque, but they are still going to give a sleek, dark appearance to them while allowing a little bit of light thrill. What I also like about this option is the fact that it sits inside the door sill or sits inside that window trim there, it's going to be an in-channel design, so it's going to look very clean and you don't have to worry about sticking it up and over on the body of the truck and get any 3M tape or any adhesive on the paint. This is just going to sit very snug inside that channel there. And I personally think it gives a clean appearance while also being very easy to pop in and take out really whenever you'd like. This is also gonna be great if you're just a fan of the window-deflector look and you're looking for something that looks very clean and stylish in the meantime. Now, with all that being said, these are going to come in at roughly $125 for the set of four. And I personally think for what you're getting out of the package, as far as the quality in the materials used, that that's a pretty good price point. Now in comparison to some other choices on the page, they are usually going to be set up a little bit differently. You may see some options that are similar to this one that sits in the channel, but again, some options may connect to the outside on the body here. Usually, with 3M tape or adhesive, they may be a little less expensive than this choice that you see here that sits in the channel. Now, there are other choices that are going to have a different finish as well. This is gonna have a dark smoke, which is going to have that dark kind of translucent appearance, in comparison to something that may be completely opaque or some that will have a completely different look to them, as far as this styling. Now, again, I personally think if you're looking for something very sleek, straightforward, easy to install, and easy to use, then this is going to be a great choice. Now, when it comes to install, I'm gonna give this a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. The only tool that we're going to need is the tool that's provided by WeatherTech to make sure that everything is seated properly. However, it can't take any longer than 20 minutes in your driveway to get the job done. So speaking of the install, let's jump into that now.The tool that I used for this stall was the soft pry tool provided by WeatherTech. So to kick off this install, we are gonna start in the front. Now, our front deflector does not have anything on it. This is simply just going to tuck into the channel. So really, our first step is just to start in the front and start to tuck our deflector into place. So making sure that the window is halfway up, what we can do is start to tuck the deflector in at the front. Then we're gonna have to bow it pretty good in order to it tucked in the back. As you can see, there's a big bow here, what we're gonna do is just pull down and push in that sill. And it's just gonna tuck up into place, just like that. Then we can move to the back. Now the back is gonna have some adhesive, so what we're gonna do is just peel this off. And once that is peeled, what we can do is the same thing, very similar to the front. We're gonna tuck one side and try to bow it on the other side, and then just push it up into place. Now we do have this little tool that's provided just to pull that top sill out, kind of stuck this in there. But once that's in place, then you're all set to go. You can just repeat that process on the other side.So that is going to wrap it up for my review and install. Make sure you like and subscribe for more videos and products just like this.
