    Review & Install Video

Hey, guys, Adam here with americantrucks.com. Today, I'm bringing you a quick overview and installation of the Weathertech rear no-drill mudflaps in black, available for all '04 to '14 F-150s, excluding the Raptor. The Weathertech no-drill rear mudflaps will be available for any '04 to '14 F-150 owner, excluding the Raptor models, who might be looking to pick up a mudflap that does not require any drilling whatsoever, with a very simple install, in order to keep the dirt and other weather elements off of the body panels of their F-150, while also keeping any road debris and off-road trail hazards from causing any damage. And it also comes with an extremely affordable price tag, which is also a huge bonus. I will be giving this a one-out-of-three wrenches on our difficulty meter as far as install goes because of the no-drill aspect. So, we'll definitely talk about that a little bit later on.WeatherTech is extremely well-known for making parts that are very weather-resistant for the inside and out of F-150s, trucks, sports cars, muscle cars, whatever it may be. They have been doing it for a very long time. With that said, this is definitely going to be no different. It's made from an extremely durable, impact-resistant ABS plastic, and because of that, it does allow all the mud, dirt, weather elements to just kind of roll right off when it is kicked up by the rear tires. What that does is, it keeps it off of the paint, keeps it from rusting anything away, and it also keeps any rocks and debris from chipping away, which is definitely something guys out there who are hitting the trails a lot will definitely find happening often. This way, you are preventing yourself from having to go to any paint correctors or anything like that, spending extra money. You do get a textured black finish on top of the impact-resistant plastic, and the rear kit you see in front of me is available for just about $40, again, a very, very budget-friendly way to keep the mud off the sides of your F-150.Shifting over to the install portion of the video, this does not require any drilling, which makes this a one-out-of-three wrenches on our difficulty meter. The quick-turn application you see here allows it to quickly snap right onto the factory wheel wells very tightly using a hex bolt on the back. Now that, obviously very straightforward, does not require very much as far as tools are concerned, and it definitely takes very little time in the driveway at home. Expect to have this one done, 15 to 20 minutes, 30 at the absolute maximum, a definite one-out-of-three wrenches on our difficulty meter.Just to quickly wrap this one up, if you're the owner of a 2004 to 2014 F-150, excluding the Raptor models, you might be looking for some mudflaps, in which case, check out the Weathertech no-drill rear mudflaps in black, which is available right here at americantrucks.com.

When referring to w/ or w/o fender flairs are you referring to aftermarket flairs or the small factory flair that is on the sport package truck.

    Collin

    • With these Weathertech Rear No Drill MudFlaps, Weathertech's fitment refers to the small factory fender flares that some F-150s are equipped with. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee fitment with any aftermarket fender flares.

Weathertech Front and Rear no drill MudFlaps

Super easy to install, spent about 20 mins (learning curve) on first one and then about 5 mins on the others. they work as intended. I have a 1000 ft. gravel drive and the flaps keep the majority of the dirt off the lower panels.

Product looks great and the delivery was fast. However, these molded mud flaps are not compatible with Bush Wacker after market finder flares.

      I had to drill

Says "No Drill" but the top bolt has no preexisting hole and I had to drill it out in order for it to be sturdy enough to not fall off. They don't provide the nut for the bottom bolt either so you'll just have to find some. The pre-installation stickers they provide are useless and don't fit either. Super easy fixes yes, but my point is it's not what they told me I was buying. That, plus I feel like it's going to fall off soon...just doesn't seem like a solid product.

      Awesome Mudflaps

These are an awesome product. Installation was effortless. Pull the 2 plastic plugs and put the mud flap in place. Use the supplied bolts in those holes, turn the lock at the top. Easy peezy. They look good and work like they are supposed to. The best part is if you remove them, you can put the plastic clips back in and return the truck to stock. I would recommend these to anyone who want a good product at a fair price.

      Rear WT no drill mudflaps

The installation was much easier because I used duct tape to keep the screws from falling out starting with the vertical screw. I slipped the aluminum washer on then loosely twisted on the locknut on. Then I did the same with the outside horizontal screw, aluminum washer and locknut. The duct tape kept the screws and aluminum washers from falling out while I snugged up the locknuts by hand. After the same technique with the inner horizontal screw , washer and locknut I removed the duct tape and hand tightened all the nuts and put a socket on the nuts to make sure the nuts were as tight as possible. There is no room to put a socket wrench even with an extension. After everything was as tight as possible I turned the cam and pushed the bar upwards as far as it would go to snug. I used a low stool to assemble to spare my back. There is vary little room to connect the washers and locknuts so you need to be at a comfortable height to complete the connections. I take my time installing things so each of the rear flaps took 30-45 minutes to allow rest for my screwed up back and complete the task. I gave 4 stars cause the assembly time was more for me. Add a half a monkey wrench.

      Nice mudflaps

Good looking, seem solid, should last awhile. Install was pretty easy, had to bend one washer on each side to fit, and needed the wife and her little hands to get that bolt attached, no biggie though.

      Nice product

Very fast shipping by American Muscle. Price was great. Fairly easy to install. Pair of rear flaps took about half and hour on my 2016 F150. Nice looking and very solid. Allen wrench adjustable mounting clamp a little tricky but after getting first one figured out, the second was easy. My only criticism is that the fit to the inside of my fender well was not as see less as I hoped. Tiny gap at the top which nobody will probably notice. Several good YouTube videos available to assist.
