Review & Install Video
Hey, guys, Adam here with americanmuscle.com. Today I'm bringing you a quick overview and installation of the Weathertech Rear No Drill MudFlaps, available in black, fitting all 2004 to 2014 F-150s, excluding the Raptor models. So in this video, I'll be going over the benefits, appearance, and functionality of these No Drill MudFlaps, as well as the materials and construction. And as you can tell from the title, there will be no drilling or modifications required to get these installed, so it will get a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.
The Weathertech Rear No Drill MudFlaps will be for any '04 to '14 F-150 owner who's looking to add some protection for the paint and body panels from the factory to make sure it doesn't get any damage potentially caused by any road debris, weather elements, or off-road messes. And of course this is gonna be for the guys out there who're not interested in making any permanent modifications to their F-150, in order to get mud flaps installed. Now, if you aren't too familiar with brand, Weathertech has been making protective items, such as this one, for the interior and the exterior of the F-150s, and even the Mustangs. Now this one in particular is definitely gonna be no different. These mud flaps offer excellent protection for your exterior, keeping all off-road messes like mud, dirt, even other weather elements like snow, if you're in a snowy area, off your factory body panels and paint. And it can even protect against some small rocks you might be kicking up if you're going off-roading, which can cause some damage to your factory paint as well. Now when you go on off-roading you're expecting to get pretty dirty. In fact, you're probably not too worried about that at all. Now the good thing about this is, not only does it protect against rocks, but it can collect a lot more of the mess when you are kicking up most of that mud, making your cleanup process a little bit easier. Plus, since it is a no drill installation, they're easily removable if you want to hand clean them yourself off the vehicle.
Now, obviously when you're talking about a protective materials such as these, you wanna have some durable materials and construction behind it. Now this particular option was manufactured out of a rugged thermoplastic resin, which is really an unquestionably protective material here, something we see widely spread throughout a lot of the options on the market as far as mud flaps are concerned, and a little bit more durable than a typical AVS plastic. Now this particular option is finished in a mat black with a textured finish, something to give it just a little bit more of an aggressive finish there. And it is a long-lasting material, so you don't have to worry about it chipping or cracking, and it will protect your sides against any off-road messes.
You can expect to be picking these two up for just about 40 bucks, a very, very budget-friendly option here, one of the more affordable options on this site. So, you can pick it up to protect the sides of your F-150 from any messes, off-road hazards, road debris, things of that nature for a very, very low cost.
Shifting gears over to the install process here, like I said in the beginning, this is a no drill mud flaps. So, you don't have to worry about doing any modifications to your wheel wells in order to get this installed properly. Thanks to the quick turn process here, as you can see, it's literally a quick turn. It will latch right onto your wheel wells with a very, very minimal hardware. Now, the hardware that it does have is already included in the kit so that's a very easy process there. Overall this should really only take you about 20 minutes, I'd say 10 minutes for each side at the absolute maximum. Overall, a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.
And just to wrap things up here, guys, if you're the owner of a 2004 all the way up to 2014 F-150, excluding the Raptor models, you might be looking to add some protection for your factory paint and body panels from, you know, weather elements, off-road messes, road debris.
