PREMIUM EXTERNAL WASTEGATE. The Turbosmart Gen4 HyperGate45 External Wastegate, rated for 14 PSI and finished in black, is engineered to efficiently regulate boost pressure in forced induction engines. It offers precise wastegate control tailored for street performance applications, compatible with pump fuel and ethanol (E85). This wastegate provides reliable flow capacity and effective thermal management without the complexities associated with motorsport-specific components. It plays a vital role in protecting both the engine and turbo system by controlling excess exhaust gas flow.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Featuring a stainless steel cast body combined with an aluminum actuator housing, this wastegate ensures long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance. It incorporates a solid stainless steel valve and a proprietary high-temperature silicon Nomex diaphragm for superior heat tolerance. The black anodized finish delivers a professional, high-quality look suited for high-performance environments.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, thanks to the V-band inlet and outlet designed for peer flange fitment of 44/46mm. The unique locking collar design, along with the included collar tool, simplifies spring changes and maintenance while providing secure assembly.
APPLICATION. Designed for universal fitment; some adaptation may be necessary to accommodate specific flange orientations or configurations. Ideal for 45mm external wastegate flange peer fitment.
