Description
Heat and Noise Insulation. The Thermo Tec Cool-It Mat, sized 24 inches by 50 feet, effectively protects against excessive heat and noise entering critical vehicle areas such as the driver compartment and firewall. Its use significantly reduces interior discomfort and noise levels, enhancing overall driving conditions.
Construction and Appearance. The mat is composed of resin-bonded silica blanketing insulation sandwiched between a Foil Skrim Kraft (FSK) facing and a foil layer. This dual-layer design provides both a radiant heat barrier and conduction of heat for optimal protection, while the dual-density silica composite serves as an effective sound insulator. The reflective metallic surfaces are optimized for heat deflection.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling. The mat can be trimmed to fit and applied securely using the provided push-in fasteners or any suitable weather strip adhesive.
Warranty. This product includes a manufacturer warranty covering quality and performance.
