Description
More Horsepower and Torque. When replacing your F-150's old tired coil packs don't settle for OE replacements, upgrade for better performance. SR Performance 42,000 volt coils provide 22,000 more volts then the wimpy factory coils to produce even more power and torque out of your DOHC 5.0L Coyote V8 engine. SR Performance Coils are an ideal replacement upgrade for stock or lightly modded Coyote powered F-150s searching for an additional boost of power.
Better Fuel Economy. These SR Performance Coil Packs not only improve the rear wheel power of your F-150, but they also improve its fuel economy as well. Because of the higher voltage of these Coils your spark plugs will produce a hotter spark. A hotter spark burns the air/fuel mixture more completely releasing all of its potential energy which translates into better fuel economy and more power that you can feel in the seat of your pants.
0 ohm Technology. These SR Performance Coil Packs feature “0” ohm technology. Manufactured with a silicone magnetic steel core that has 0 ohms of resistance, these Coils allow all the spark energy to transfer to the spark plugs. This design not only improves spark power, but it also suppresses Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) to effectively shield your F-150's sensitive electronic components from interference.
No Tune Required. These Coil Packs are designed to improve the performance of your F-150 without the need of reprogramming your computer. The engineers at SR Performance really did their homework to improve your F-150's power using the factory tune.
Not CARB Certified. These Coil Packs are not CARB certified at this time, therefore they are not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; intended for off road use only.
Complete Kit. This SR Performance Coil On Plug Kit comes complete and includes all hardware necessary for installation. The Kit includes the 8 coil packs with connector cables, and stainless snap lock plug connectors.
Application. This set of eight SR Performance 4-Valve Coil Packs are designed as a direct fit performance upgrade for the 2011-2016 Ford F-150s equipped with the Coyote 5.0L 4 valve V8 engine.
Application Note. These SR Performance Coils are designed to fit the Coyote 5.0L engine that have a coil harness that features a Red Tab and Ears on the connector. 2016 F-150 owners will need to confirm the style of coil harness before ordering, as Ford made an electrical connector change on the 5.0L engines built after 2/23/16.
