Description
High Performance Upgrade. The Alpha Catted Y-Pipe featuring 6" diameter ultra high flow catalytic converters replaces the restrictive factory downpipes on 5.0L F-150 trucks. It enhances throttle response, fuel economy, and overall performance by reducing back pressure and exhaust gas temperatures while maintaining compliance with green emissions standards.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 304 stainless steel, the y-pipe includes 3" mandrel bent tubing with TIG and MIG welds for superior strength and durability. The catalytic converters are loaded with rhodium for effective NOX reduction and provide a clean, polished metal finish. A 4" flex pipe is included to absorb engine and chassis movement, ensuring longevity.
Installation. Designed as a direct factory replacement with a bolt-on fit, installation is straightforward with no custom tuning or drilling required, suitable for experienced enthusiasts and professional installers.
