Clearly, you don't hook up more than one vehicle at the same time, but one day you might need to drag a small car out of a ditch; the next day, a 4x4 or a pantechnicon. Different vehicles have different towing hardware, and you want to flexible. That is why this product is adjustable.
Super-Tough Construction. The lightweight but sturdy Smittybilt 2" Receiver Hitch Adjustable Ball Mount with Drop Hitch is manufactured from high grade billet aluminum. A billet is a lump of solid aluminum. Instead of pouring molten alloy into a ball mount-shaped mold, Smittybilt takes billets and whittles away everything that doesn't look like a trailer hitch, conferring both strength and reliability on the finished product. You benefit from exceptional wear and resistance.
Installation. The Smittybilt 2 in. Receiver Hitch Adjustable Ball Mount fits 2 in. and 2-5/16 in. receivers, and the drop adjusts within a 6 in. range. You simply configure the drop you need to keep your trailer on the level.
Warranty. The Smittybilt 2 in. Receiver Hitch Adjustable Ball Mount w/2 in. & 2-5/16 in. Balls - 6 in. Drop Hitch is protected by a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty applies to the original retail purchase.
