This quality kit includes cast-iron extended steering knuckles, arched, progressive-rate rear springs, and everything else needed to expand the off-road performance and dominance of your Ford. Black Max Shocks. These high-performance shocks feature a dual-tube design with ample internal fluid reservoirs and oversized pistons and rods. They dissipate heat quickly, keeping your damping rates smooth and predictable. Off-road fun puts a big demand on your shocks, and these Black Max units from Skyjacker deliver the goods.
Progressive Rear Leaf Springs. Make no mistake: The right way to do a tall lift with leaf springs is to replace the springs. Tall lift blocks -- regardless of material -- risk axle-wrap and instability. Skyjacker includes a specially-arched pair of progressive leaf springs to ensure long-life, stability, and maximum performance.
Iron Steering Knuckles. This kit includes strong cast iron and CNC-machined steering knuckles to boost your rig's stature while maintaining suspension geometry. These knuckles meet all OEM specs, and result in great control and durability.
Strut Spacers. The second part of the front lift relies on strut spacers to get the springs where they need to be. These strut spacers are custom-engineered for precision fit and ideal performance.
The Whole Kit and Caboodle. Skyjacker includes essentials like an extended pitman arm, dropped front and rear crossmembers, relocated diff brackets, skid protector, and a whole lot of the smaller components required in a major lift operation.
Straightforward Install. Skyjacker has done a great job of making this a straightforward (though not easy) process. No welding or other fabrication is necessary. All hardware is included, and the step-by-step instructions are fully-illustrated. Still, you're going to need a garage full of tools, and a good deal of skill and patience. Estimate at least eight hours for a full installation.
