      Description

      Functional Ram Air Hood. The TYPE-RKS Style Ram Air Hood is a performance-oriented replacement designed to efficiently channel cold intake air, working with major aftermarket performance air intake systems to enhance engine cooling and airflow.

      Construction And Appearance. This hood is crafted from hand laid high-quality fiberglass and resin, finished with gel coat on both the top and underside to provide an ideal smooth surface for painting preparation. Where applicable, aluminum wire mesh grill inserts are included for added functionality and style.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward, utilizing the factory hinges and latch. Some hand-finishing is necessary for paint preparation and proper fitment, so this is not a simple bolt-on product.

      Application. Designed to fit Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models from 2016 to 2018 without the need for modifications.
