Description
Premium Performance Ball Joint. The TTX Front Upper Ball Joint is engineered for superior durability and reliable performance under demanding driving conditions. It plays a vital role in the vehicle suspension system by allowing smooth and stable movement of the steering knuckle while maintaining proper vehicle alignment. This ball joint is essential to ensure safe handling and ride comfort.
Construction and Appearance. Made with patented sintered metal bearings for maximum toughness, this ball joint includes a neoprene dust boot sealed with a patented sealing ring that effectively locks contaminants out. It is pre-greased and features grease fittings for straightforward servicing. The assembly is finished with green-colored sealing boots, knurled surfaces to prevent distortion and corrosion, and fasteners with pre-applied nylok thread adhesive to ensure a secure and vibration-resistant fit.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, using a press-in mounting design. All necessary hardware is included, such as a part-specific slotted castle nut and an easy snap cotter pin, simplifying and speeding up the installation process.
Application. Specifically designed to fit the Front Upper position on 1999 through 2006 Silverado 1500 models as a non-adjustable type ball joint.
