Description
For Hitch Installation. When adding a hitch, the attachment bolts go through various holes in your vehicle's frame. If the head of the bolt rests against only the frame, the forces on the frame are concentrated in a small area, leading to weakness in the frame, and the bolts can be pulled through, especially with heavy loads. These Hitch Installation Spacer Blocks go between the frame and the head of the bolt to prevent it from spinning and being pulled through the frame, much like a large, thick, square washer. These are a must-have when properly installing a hitch and can prevent hitch problems.
Solid Steel Construction. These spacer blocks are made from durable solid steel, a quarter of an inch thick. They can withstand a pressure of approximately 36,000 psi, generally considered sufficient for most light-duty towing applications.
Install with Your Hitch. These Hitch Spacer Blocks install as you bolt the hitch to your frame. Simply check which dimensions of spacer blocks are best for your application and include as you would a washer during the attachment process.
