    Convenient Install Procedure. This side molding includes automotive-grade double-sided tape backing, making installation a convenient peel-and-stick procedure. That said, it is highly recommended that you thoroughly clean and dry the sides of your Silverado first before wiping the mounting area down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol. This is to ensure maximum adhesion of the adhesive to your truck. Additionally, when installing the molding in cold weather, it is good to warm-up the mounting area, as the adhesive works best on warm surfaces. This can be accomplished with a heat gun or hairdryer.
