      Installation. Installation is straightforward for experienced technicians using basic hand tools. The process includes removing the old components by straightening and removing the cotter pin, loosening and removing the castle nut, and using a two-jaw puller to free the idler arm. Next, remove the 21mm nuts from the idler bracket to remove the arm and bracket. Installation involves sliding the idler arm into place, hand-tightening the castle nut and 21mm nuts, then inserting and bending the cotter pin to secure everything.
