      Description

      Heat Protection Solution. The Heat Shroud; 12 AN x 36-Inch offers an effective way to protect lines, hoses, and wires from heat and abrasion damage without requiring disconnection. Designed to wrap easily around installed components, it helps maintain their durability and flexibility under extreme temperatures commonly found in automotive applications.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed from high-temperature rated glass fiber fabric, this shroud features an aluminized exterior that reflects radiant heat up to 2000°F. It incorporates 19 oz heat-treated glass fiber insulation reinforced with aramid thread for enhanced abrasion resistance and flame retardance. The outer finish is durable aluminum, providing both heat reflection and protection from contaminants such as oil, dirt, and road grime.

      Installation. Installation is simple and requires no tools or the removal of existing lines or hoses. The shroud wraps around and secures with a hook-and-loop closure, allowing customization by cutting to the desired length and shaping to fit tight bends.

      Application. This product fits universally on lines with a 12 AN inner diameter, with some adaptation potentially required depending on the specific hose or line configuration. It is not intended for direct application on exhaust components.
