Description
Extra Protection. This Hood Protector adds an extra layer of defense by deflecting small items or projectiles that could cause minor damage to your vehicle, such as scratches or small dents. This is attached to the forefront of your hood and funnels approaching air to flow above the hood and to the top of your windscreen. Small objects such as stones, dust, and insects have a higher chance of missing both the hood and the windshield in this manner, minimizing the risk of damage by projectiles.
Additional Lighting. This hood protection has a light bar with 5 marker lights for added lighting ahead, in addition to deflecting the wind and projectiles. These lights provide amber light, which is better suited to weather situations such as fog, snow, or severe rain. Amber-colored lighting outperformed white-colored lights, especially when it came to lighting wet roads.
Durable Construction. This hood protector is manufactured of UV-resistant plastic that will not warp or crack when exposed to direct sunlight. It also has the flexibility to take hits from blunt objects and simply soak up the force.
Installation. Installation requires no drilling or cutting. Automotive-grade tape can be used to secure this hood protector. The lightbar is powered by 9-foot wiring that may run underneath the hood.
