This front big brake kit upgrades your factory brake system with more powerful calipers, wider rotors, and beefier pads. These factors provide your truck with optimum stopping power while still maintaining an excellent pedal feel. Additionally, this kit’s included calipers are powder coated in a bright red colorway, giving your truck a definite high-performance style.

    Forged 6-Piston Calipers. This front big brake kit’s included calipers utilize a 6-piston design with larger diameter pistons when compared to stock. This design gives you maximum clamping force with a pedal feel that offers outstanding feedback so you always feel in control. Additionally, these calipers are forged from high-grade application-specific metal alloys for strength and receive a heat-resistant bright red powder coat finish for style.

    Vented and Slotted 2-Piece Rotors. This big brake kit replaces your factory counterparts with a pair of 16-inch diameter rotors, offering a broader surface area for the caliper pistons and the brake pads. These rotors also feature a 2-piece design with internal vents and machined directional slottings to ensure maximum pad bite and fade-free performance. What’s more, these rotors are machine cast and precision balanced from quality iron before receiving a premium Geomet coating for exceptional durability and resistance to rust and corrosion.

    Beefier Brake Pads. This front big brake kit is equipped with a pair of beefy brake pads. These brake pads are 10 to 30 percent larger than stock, offering a larger surface area to improve the bite. Additionally, these pads produce very little noise and brake dust, making sure all your drives are stress-free.

    Trouble-Free Install Procedure. This front big brake kit is designed to install in factory locations on your truck. No modifications to your braking system are needed although you might need to bleed your system. In which case, it’s a good idea to keep a bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid to replace the bled-out used fluid.
