Description
Heavy-Duty Hitch Ball. The 2-5/16-Inch Trailer Hitch Ball is designed to provide a secure and reliable towing connection for trailers, suitable for heavy-duty towing where compatibility with 2-5/16-inch couplers and a high weight capacity are essential for safety and performance.
Construction and Appearance. Made from high-strength, hot-forged steel, this trailer ball offers durability and strength. It includes a chrome-plated finish for corrosion resistance and an attractive appearance, complemented by a zinc-plated hex nut and helical lock washer to ensure secure mounting.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require advanced tools. The ball must be mounted on a platform at least 3/8" thick, with a mounting hole diameter that is no more than 1/16" larger than the 1" threaded shank. Drilling is only necessary if the existing mounting hole does not meet these specifications.
Warranty and Application. This product includes a limited lifetime warranty with one-year coverage on both the finish and parts. It fits 2-5/16" trailer couplers and is rated for gross trailer weights up to 7,500 lbs., with mounting requirements specified to ensure proper fit and safe operation.
