Adding a modest lift to your Chevy Silverado can be a starting point for more suspension work, a way to give your vehicle a rugged look, or a clearance increase for easy to moderate trails – all handled by 1-2” lift kits. The carefully manufactured kits you’ll find on AmericanTrucks are available as both leveling and lift kits, the former evening out the factory rake and the latter lifting your truck both front and rear. With the lift only 2” more than stock at most, installation is relatively straightforward and both the standard ride comfort and typical handling are retained. The lift does make room for tires up to 32” in diameter, however, which, along with the lift itself, can give you several inches of clearance – enough to make it easier to traverse that rutted, brushy trail. You can expect billet aluminum or powder-coated steel construction throughout for boosted durability.
