It encases wiring, wire splices, terminals, and connections, creating a water-tight seal that safeguards against dirt, dust, solvents, and mechanical strain, which is essential for reliable performance in demanding automotive environments.

    Construction and Appearance. This tubing is made from military specification flexible polyolefin, known for its high heat resistance and durability. Its over-expanded design allows easy installation over wires and connectors, shrinking down to one-third of its original diameter when heated, without shortening in length. It has a smooth, matte finish and is available in natural or black color.

    Installation. Installation requires only a heat gun to apply controlled heat between 120°F and 180°F, causing the tubing to tightly conform around wiring. No drills or complex tools are needed, making it suitable for both professional and DIY use.
