Description
HIGH TEMPERATURE PROTECTION. The Fire Sleeve, measuring 0.75 inches in diameter and 25 feet in length, is designed to shield fuel, transmission, and brake lines from damaging heat and abrasion. It helps maintain the integrity of these vital vehicle lines exposed to intense thermal conditions, making it ideal for automotive applications requiring durable heat insulation.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This sleeve is made from braided glass material tightly woven and coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber. The textured outer finish withstands continuous exposure to temperatures up to 500°F and can handle intermittent heat spikes as high as 2000°F.
INSTALLATION. Installation is simple and does not require drilling. The sleeve can be cut to the desired length and easily applied over existing lines and wiring to provide immediate protection.
APPLICATION. Fits universal applications, though some adaptation may be necessary to accommodate specific line sizes or fittings.
