Description
Heavy Duty Suspension. The Shocker Hitch HD 20K Air Bumper Hitch and Combo Ball Mount for 2.5-Inch Receiver Hitch; 0.50 to 4.50-Inch Drop provides smoother and safer towing by integrating a heavy-duty built-in air ride suspension system. It cushions the ride by absorbing bumps, jerks, tugs, and road shocks through the air suspension, naturally reducing trailer sway and enhancing vehicle control.
Construction and Appearance. The hitch frame is finished with an impact-resistant premium red powder coat that protects against corrosion. Built with premium materials, it features a 1-inch diameter 1045 carbon steel pivot bolt with a grease zerk for easy maintenance. The adjustable combo ball mount includes 2-inch and 2-5/16-inch chrome hitch balls rated at 10,000 and 20,000 pounds respectively, providing strength and versatility.
Installation. Installation requires no drilling; the hitch slides into standard 2.5-inch receiver tubes and secures with the included D-handle ball mount pins. Multiple adjustment holes allow fine-tuning of the drop from 0.5 to 4.5 inches to achieve a level towing setup that suits various trailer configurations.
Application. Designed to fit vehicles equipped with the correct receiver size; some adaptation may be required. Compatible with full-size pickups, midsize pickups, vans, and select SUVs that have the receiver located under the bumper. This hitch is not compatible with weight-distribution hitch systems.
