It is designed to provide a smoother and safer towing experience for pickups, vans, and select SUVs, helping to reduce the tendency to trailer sway and enhancing ride comfort, essential for protecting both the tow vehicle and trailer.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured with heavy-duty steel components, this hitch features a rugged red powder coat finish that offers excellent impact resistance and corrosion protection. The system integrates twin urethane bump cushions and a durable air spring airbag within the receiver frame for high-performance durability and reliability.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, as the hitch slides into a standard 2-inch or 2-1/2-inch receiver tube. The adjustable drop ball mount secures with hitch pins, allowing easy height adjustment to level the trailer effectively.
Application. Suitable for full-size pickup trucks, midsize pickups, vans, and select SUVs equipped with a receiver hitch located under the bumper. Not compatible with weight distribution hitch systems; for those applications, an air equalizer should be used instead.
