      Description

      Keep your Sierra's MAP Sensor Clean. The MAP, or Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor, is an integral component of your Sierra's operation, continuously monitoring the pressure within the intake manifold to calculate ignition timing and air/fuel ratios for optimum performance. However, if you own an LP5 Duramax-powered Sierra, you've likely encountered a soot-caked MAP sensor that throws a code or dramatically reduces efficiency and performance. S&B engineered this MAP Sensor Spacer Kit to prevent frequent cleanings and reliability issues. This kit spaces the MAP sensor further from the intake manifold and out of the path of soot returning from the EGR valve, keeping the sensor clean and operational. 

      Prolongs MAP Sensor Life. MAP sensors are known to fail due to excess soot contamination, forming a tough shell around the sensitive sensor probe that's easily damaged during cleanings. With this spacer installed, your MAP sensor has a far better chance of lasting years and hundreds of thousands of miles, preventing unnecessary replacements and saving you money.
