Enhanced Airflow Performance. The S&B Cold Air Intake with Dry Extendable Filter is designed to increase engine airflow by 53.66% compared to the stock setup. This intake system improves combustion efficiency and turbo response, leading to enhanced power for the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel engine. It features a fully enclosed airbox which protects the filter from contaminants and helps reduce heat soak from the engine bay, ensuring optimal performance.

Construction and Appearance. Manufactured using durable materials, the intake includes a rotomolded battery tray integrated seamlessly into the design for superior fitment and a clean appearance. The air filter is available with media options including an 8-layer cotton cleanable filter treated with red oil or a dry extendable media filter. Both provide filtration efficiency ratings up to 99.68%, while maintaining improved airflow characteristics.

Installation. Installation of this intake kit is straightforward and requires basic mechanical skill. Installation instructions are provided to assist with the process.

Application. This cold air intake system fits 1998 through 2003 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks, as well as 2000 through 2003 Ford Excursion models equipped with the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel engine. Installation on other years, models, or engine configurations is not recommended as fitment and performance may vary.
