Traditional steel lines can snap much easier than this Rugged Ridge 7/16 in. x 90 ft. Dark Gray Synthetic Winch Line, which can pull 22,500 lbs. before breaking, making sure it will get you out of the most extreme binds.
Stronger Than Steel. Because of this synthetic line's construction, it is both lighter and stronger than the traditional steel line. Fibers, like the kind used in ballistic armor, are used in it fabrication, which also provide a much suppler feel, meaning no kinking or metal splinters from a frayed steel line. They're also much easier to unspool than their steel counterparts, making recovery easier. The dark gray hue of the line adds a bit of attitude to a recovery system that's already tough on its own.
