Description
Improved Off-Road Capabilities. Take on more aggressive off-road trails while still maintaining a smooth ride with the Rough Country 6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with V2 Monotube Shocks. This suspension lift kit is designed to raise your front and rear by 6 inches enabling you to take on tougher off-road trails while running 35-inch tires. Additionally, this kit provides your new ride height while also leveling the front of your Sierra 1500 to its rear giving it a meaner stance. Best of all, this kit achieves all of this while maintaining a near factory ride quality. This allows you to keep using your truck as an everyday driver.
High-Performance Rear V2 Monotube Shock Absorbers. This suspension lift kit replaces your rear shocks with the V2 monotube shock absorbers. These rear shocks feature a monotube design with an internal floating piston that works to keep their pressurized nitrogen gas charge separated from the shock oil. This translates to more immediate damping performance and improved off-road handling and a firm but smooth ride on the highway. What’s more, these shocks feature T6061 aluminum shock bodies which provide more efficient heat dissipation for consistent fade-free performance.
Heavy-Grade Front Steering Knuckles. This kit’s front lift is provided by a pair of lifted front steering knuckles. These knuckles feature an optimized design that restores steering geometry to virtually factory parameters. Moreover, these knuckles are cast from premium steel before receiving a corrosion-resistant protective coating extending its service life.
Wear-Resistant Fabricated Rear Lift Blocks. Lifting the rear is accomplished by a pair of wear-resistant steel lift blocks. These lift blocks are precision-fabricated rather than cast making them highly resistant to compression forces. Additionally, these lift blocks receive a protective black powder coat finish for superior protection against rust.
Hardwearing Strut Spacers. To help ensure your truck’s factory ride quality is maintained, this kit includes a pair of steel strut spacers. These spacers are precision-fabricated from premium steel making them extremely hardwearing. Moreover, these spacers receive the same protective black powder coat finish as the lift blocks for long service life.
Straightforward Install Procedure. The individual components of this suspension lift kit mount onto your truck using factory locations. Some cutting and trimming may be necessary to properly fit certain parts. It is also ideal to have a full set of tools as well as advanced mechanical knowledge and skills to ensure an efficient installation. Besides these factors, installation is relatively straightforward.
