Hey, guys. Sarah for americantrucks.com, and today we have a review an install of the Rough Country Rear Wheel Well Liners, fitting your '15 and up Ford F-150s. These liners are going to improve the appearance of your truck by closing the gap between the frame and the body, which will get worse as you lift your truck. The one we have today is stock height, but as you can see they still look great.Coming in at around $100, these are a great way to protect your investment. Not to mention, they're gonna look great doing it. I'm giving this install a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. It can be done in approximately 30 minutes with basic hand tools. The most difficult part of this install is going to be arranging the wheel well liner within your wheel well, and it is worth noting that it may require drilling on some models. Tools required for this install are a 10-millimeter socket, 3/8-drive ratchet and some optional but helpful tools, our trim panel removal tool and a heat gun. First step in our install is to loosen the bolt at the back of the wheel well. Grab your 10-millimeter socket and pull it out. Next up we're gonna grab the two included J-clips and put them on our truck with the flat side facing out. You want to aim for these two pre-drilled holes. With our J-clips in place, we can now insert the wheel liner into the wheel well. It may take a little bit of finagling to get this positioned properly. You do want this ridge here on the inside of the metal ridge of our fender, which is definitely the most difficult part. Also, if you do have a flare on your truck, the bolts at the front of the wheel well, they say you can loosen. It makes it a little easier. We don't, so we're gonna leave that be. In addition, there are two pop clips at the back of the fender well. If you're fighting them, you can take them out. Just remember that you might want to get new ones because they don't come out nicely. All right. If this gets a little bit too difficult to do by hand, which it definitely can, you can grab a heat gun, warm it up a little bit, or you can grab a trim tool and just push up on the plastic and go under this metal fender. Just a tip is that it's a lot easier if you tuck it in this back portion here like we did rather than start with the front of the wheel well. That's because of this clip right here. It gets a little difficult to get it on the other side of, but once we have our wheel well in line and everything's lined up to our liking, we can go ahead and put the 10-millimeter bolt back in the back of our wheel well. All right, now we want to line up our J-clip with the included bolts, and then we can go ahead and tighten it down. Conveniently, these are also 10 millimeter. Moving on to the front one. All right. Line up our J-clip with our second bolt, grab our 10-millimeter and tighten it down. Now that we're done with the driver's side, you're just gonna repeat those steps on the passenger's side, and that will wrap up our review and install for the Rough Country Wheel Well Liners. Remember, for all things Ford, keep it at americantrucks.com.
