Meanwhile, its 95-inch length and 64-inch width, and 660-pound load rating are enough for three people so you could make your overlanding or camping trips a family affair. What’s more, this roof top tent is compatible with most roof or truck bed racks for convenience.

      Built-In Creature Comforts. A rack mount roof top tent that’s not comfortable is a drag to use. Fortunately, this tent is anything BUT comfortable. This roof top tent comes with a 2-inch thick queen-size memory foam mattress, making its interior comfortable. This tent assembly even includes a lighting kit composed of an LED light strip, a 12-volt adapter with extension wire, as well as a USB port so you don’t have to stumble around in the dark. And to keep your shoes outside your tent but off the ground, this tent comes with a shoe bag.

      Rugged Build Quality. This roof top tent’s roof and walls are made from a water-resistant 600 denier Oxford rip stop fabric with a 400 denier Oxford rip stop fabric rain fly, ensuring you’re kept dry in cases of a sudden downpour. Structural integrity for its part is provided by flooring made from advanced composite panels mounted on rugged aluminum frames. Meanwhile, the included ladder is manufactured from premium aluminum alloy for strength. Lastly, this whole assembly comes in a stylish gray colorway.

      Practical Set-Up and Break-Down. This Rough Country roof top tent is designed as a complete system that can be left mounted onto your roof rack for extended periods. The install process itself involves first mounting the included aluminum frame rails onto the base of the tent before installing the whole assembly onto your rack. The collapsible ladder is then attached to the tent and you’re done. To deploy the tent, you simply pull on the ladder and then mount the included prop rods.
