Access Remote Trails. Turn your reliable F-150 into an off-roading machine by adding this Rough Country 2-inch Lifted Strut Kit with Rear Shocks. By gaining a full and even two inches in both the back and front axles, it's easier to cross muddy fords without fouling your engine. If you need space for exhaust modifications or other undercarriage additions, the space gained around the upper control arms is worth the lift kit alone. The aggressive look is a nice bonus too.

As Tough as Your Truck. Of course, an off-roading F-150 is only as reliable and tough as its weakest part. The aircraft aluminum used to craft these struts and blocks is well-tested to withstand the forces generated by a rough ride on gravel or bare rock.

Shocking Performance. The included Premium N2.0 shock absorber was engineered by Rough Country's expert team to provide extreme performance for both on and off-road use. The heavy duty chrome hardened 9/16" piston rod offers the strength and durability that is needed out on the trail or road while allowing fluid movement in a massive 1-3/8" bore.

Everything's Included for Installation. With a system for bolting the struts and shocks right onto the existing fixtures, this kit only takes around three hours for an experienced installer to add.

Application. The Rough Country 2 in. Lifted Strut Kit with Rear Shocks is intended for the 2014 Ford F-150 2WD and 4WD, excluding Raptor models.

    Ask a Question

What is the largest size tire that I can run with the 20" stock rims without doing a lot of trimming?

    • With the Rough Country 2 in. Lifted Strut Kit we do not recommend exceeding a 285/65R20 with the stock wheels, as the stock wheel offset will present issues with larger tire sizes.

Does this have any negative effects on the cv axel? I have a 2.5" lift on my truck now and it seems to have put them at a bad angle. I'm just looking for something that won't put stress on them for when I go off roading. Thank you for any help

    • The Rough Country 2 in. Lifted Strut Kit with Rear Shocks will have a minimal effect on your CV axles due to the relatively tame amount of lift being added.

What is the largest size tire that I can run with the 18" stock rims without doing a lot of trimming? Can you go with 35x12.5R18 or 295/70R18? Also, will this make it sit level?

    • With the Rough Country 2 in. Lifted Strut Kit w/ Rear Shocks the 35" tires would still be a little too big without doing any trimming. The 297/70 will work but will be tight at full lock.

What is the largest size tire you can fit without trimming?

    • Hello! For this Rough Country 2 in. Lifted Strut Kit w/ Rear Shocks the size of the tire is going to depend on a couple of factors. It is not so much the height of the tire since there is a good amount of room to the fender and bumper. But the width of the tire and the offset of the wheel will greatly effect what size you can run.

      Rough country level kit

Everything went smoothly and the product is great. The only negative is when I’m at full lock, it hits part of the brake assembly and it sounds terrible.

      Great product

The kit took me 6 hours to install wasn't difficult just had to make sure things lined up correctly. The ride is great and the truck sits better. It doesn't put anymore pressure on the cv axles like the block leveling kits do. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're thinking of leveling out your truck to use this kit to avoid any issues the block leveling kits give.

Rough Country 2 in leveling kit

Really like the way it turned out. Seems like quality parts. The directions could have been a little better. Took about 6 hours total to get it installed, I'm sure others could do it quicker. Really wanted to put 35x12.5's on it like rough country said they used but no place I talked to said they would fit without trimming some things. I put 295/70's on it and there isn't much room now when turned all the way, less than a 1/2". Overall, very pleased with it. Rides like a truck now.

      So far so good

Just got the raised front struts and the blocks and shocks put on yesterday. (N2O's). I have only driven about twenty miles, but it feels good. Noticeably stiffer but not uncomfortable. Looking forward to hunting this weekend and hit a couple dirt roads. BTW I drive a 2014 F150 2wd. The only time me I'm off road is during the hunting season. So it very moderate stuff. Stock it was bottoming out, so I'm curious to see how it does now
