This speaker upgrade takes your audio system and brings it to new heights by providing greater mid-range detail, crystal-clear high frequencies, and bone-shaking bass. With this speaker system in your truck, your driving music just got livelier.
More Power for Better Sound. The Rockford Fosgate Sony 8 Speaker System Upgrade can handle a lot of power. The included component speakers feature an 80-Watt RMS rating with 160 Watts peak power output. Meanwhile, 2-way full-range speakers are rated at 75 Watts RMS with 150 Watts peak power output. Moreover, the subwoofer is rated at 500 Watts RMS, with 1,000 Watts peak power output. This translates to music that can be played loud. To ensure all this power results in distortion-less music, this system comes with a 4-channel and mono subwoofer amplifier.
Eight Speaker Upgrade. The Rockford Fosgate Sony System Upgrade replaces the speakers of your factory system. This speaker upgrade includes a pair of component speakers for the front measuring 6.5 inches with 1-inch fabric dome tweeters, and a pair of crossovers. Handling the rear is a pair of 6.5-inch 2-way speakers. These 2-way speakers feature a built-in aluminum dome tweeter, and a hidden crossover. Bass sounds are handled by a narrow-profile sealed 10-inch subwoofer. Finally, the included 4 channel and the subwoofer amplifiers measure just 8.625 inches wide x 1.625 inches tall x 4.312 inches deep and are designed to enable efficient, space-saving installation.
Straight Forward Installation. The Rockford Fosgate Sony 8 Speaker System Upgrade installs using preexisting locations on your F-150. Minor drilling and/or trimming may be required to properly fit your speakers. Additionally, installation requires just standard hand tools.
