Richmond's 4.10 Gears are ideal for F-150 owners who need a little more low end grunt for towing or when taking on difficult off road trails.

    Recommended Upgrade. Please note that when changing the gear ratio of your F-150's differential that the calibration of your speedometer will no longer be correct and will display the wrong speed. However, you can easily fix this annoying issue with a Handheld Tuner (sold separately).

    Professional Installation Recommended. The installation of Ring and Pinon Gears can be a very intricate process, so mechanical experience is highly recommended. Follow the included instructions for best results.

    Two Year Manufacturer's Warranty. Richmond is so confident in the quality of their products that they warrant them to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 Years or 100,000 Miles.  Some exclusions may apply, please see manufacturer's warranty for complete details.

    Application. This 4.10 ratio Richmond Rear Ring and Pinion Gear set will fit 1997-2018 F-150 models equipped with a 9.75-inch (12 bolt) rear differential. A master bearing kit is recommended by most installers, especially on high mileage vehicles.

    Please Note. If you are unsure if your F-150 has an 8.8 in. (10 Bolt) or a 9.75 in. (12 Bolt) differential, please check with your local Ford dealer to determine what rear is in your truck.

      No go, 2018 F150

      So I tore my rearend down, had the diff carrier on the ground about to remove the ring gear when I realized the 9.75 was too big for my rearend. Apparently Ford has a super 8.8 rearend now. I’ve since changed the ratio with the correct size from another company who assisted in me in finding this info. But the return department did an awesome job on helping me send the ring and pinion back
